The Human

Form:

Emotion, Movement and

Narritive

My figurative work explores human experience through the language of the body. While portraits capture individual faces, these pieces tell stories through posture, gesture, and expressive form. From classical draped figures to raw vulnerability, each sculpture captures profound emotion, despair, triumph, anguish, contemplation, joy. The body speaks what words cannot. Working in water-based clay with Bronze-B finishes, I create surfaces ranging from traditional bronze patinas to bold colored waxes—rich oranges, warm ambers, verdigris greens. Each finish enhances the piece's emotional content. These sculptures draw from classical traditions while remaining deeply personal and contemporary. Some echo ancient Greek and Roman forms; others are raw and modern, exploring vulnerability and the human condition in ways that feel immediate and urgent. Each piece is a narrative frozen in bronze, a story told through form. ________________________________________
